NYC Open Data questions?

New York City data sets are available from NYC Open Data, at http://www.nyc.gov/data.

If you have questions about NYC Open Data, please contact the Open Data team: http://www.nyc.gov/html/data/contact.html

Or you can post your questions here instead, if you prefer.

Just to clarify, we can use any open data sets (even ones updated after October 11th), except ones that were added after October 11th?

Are there any other clear indicators of open data sets we can't use?

I am planning to use GIS data from DCP that I didnt see in the nyc open data:
    http://www.nyc.gov/html/dcp/html/bytes/dwndistricts.shtml#shfp

Is there any reason this wasn't in there or why I couldn't use it?

    Thanks,
    Ed

Thanks for the response, happy holidays!

I think you misunderstood what I was asking. There is a dataset provided by the NYC Department of City Planning available from their website, but for some reason NOT in NYC Open Data. It is still NYC government data provided by an NYC agency. Maybe it's there, but I can't find it.

This would be one of many datasets I plan to use, I just wanted to know if there was any particular reason why this agency's data is not represented and if there is any reason why I should not use it.

Thanks Marny. I want to use the School District boundaries. All the other ones seem to be there except for that one.
