NYC Monuments Application

Anyone who might be interested in working on my project with me for the Challenge, feel free to contact me. The App will focus around Categorizing Photos in Flickr and using the Flickr Groups and API to build an Online Catalog containing photos, links and a precise location as to where to find a NYC Monument and Attraction.

The Backend Datastore is built using SQL Server 2008 R2 and SSIS, C# with use of the Flickr.Net API where photos with a specific machine tag are imported into the system.

The Management and categorization of the feed is built using the ASP.NET3.0 MVC Stack using Nhibernate, Lucerne and Google Maps.

The Client Application consists of a website and a mobile application that can either use SQLite/ SQL Server Compact

The Photo Catalog consists of Photos from my Flickr Photo steam, where I have tried to photograph and geocode every monument from the Northern Bronx to very southern tip of Staten Island.
