BMW i Ventures Incubator opening celebration
We're nearing the submission deadline for NYC BigApps 3.0: be sure to submit your app by 5 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
To reward yourself for submitting — or just for thinking about submitting! — plan to attend the opening celebration for the new BMW i Ventures Incubator. (BMW i Ventures is an NYC BigApps strategic partner.) Here are the event details:

BMW i Ventures invites you to the opening celebration for the new BMW i Ventures Incubator on January 31, 2012 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. We are excited to kick off our presence in NYC with drinks, food and a panel discussion on "How digital technology can change, improve, disrupt, enhance and perhaps revolutionize mobility," featuring the following panelists:
- Mitchell L. Moss, Director of the Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management and Henry Hart Rice Professor Urban Policy and Planning at NYU
- Kurt Buecheler, Vice President, Business Development, Streetline, a highly innovative company focusing on parking and traffic management
- Bill Schwebel, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Inrix, leading provider of traffic information, directions and driver services, as well as apps and tools designed to get traffic-powered solutions to market rapidly
- John Schmid, Chairman, Green Parking Council, providing leadership and oversight for the green conversion of parking facilities to sustainable, environmentally responsible assets
- Anthony Eskinazi, CEO & Founder of ParkatmyHouse (London/UK), “the Airbnb of parking space."
